About Us
Hi, I’m Amber — an early childhood educator, mama of two, and big believer in all things creative, messy, and magical. I currently work at a Reggio Emilia–inspired school and love supporting young children through play-based, child-led learning.
I noticed that many children and families in the Reno area had few opportunities to engage in open-ended, sensory-rich creative play. That inspired me to bring those joyful, confidence-building experiences directly to our community.
Colorplay Artspace grew from that spark — a mobile art studio that offers process art and sensory play workshops designed to celebrate each child’s unique way of creating.
After all, art is about exploration, expression, and simply having fun.
